I have been debating on what to call this recipe. You can also freeze shaped dinner rolls on a cookie sheet, and once frozen transfer to a plastic bag. this way you can bake up just the quantity you desire for dinner and not the entire batch. This past Sunday evening, I drove over to visit my best friend. Place the pan back in the oven and cook for 10 minutes taking care not to open the oven door. Once the butter is worked into the dry ingredients, we have a crumbly mixture.

Well, to be exact, it was'nt really an arguement, it was more like an exchange of ideas.

I made these with a lot of substitutions and they were still WONDERFUL! posted by Jamie on May 13, 2014 Tender blueberry scones flecked with lemon zest create the perfect breakfast treat. Because of this, we use Gold Medal all-purpose flour, which has less protein than other flour brands (Pillsbury is also a good choice, here). This would be fine as a shortbread with strawberries... Brush tops with butter or milk prior to baking. Awww, that picture of your son is precious!

To make the glaze, melt the butter and the milk in the microwave for 30 seconds. Use a sharp knife to cut into 8 triangles; place on prepared baking sheet, about 1 inch apart. Insert fork around edges of muffin until it separates into two halves. I like to chop my apples into small chunks for these muffins, too–that way, there’s lots of apple taste in every bite!
