Just made these with blackberries for my mother in laws birthday. On the bottom rack, fill a 9 x 13 inch pan with boiling water and close the door. It's so hard to find a scone recipe without eggs and I loved the inclusion of honey in this one. Note: I also lined a baking sheet with parchment paper for the scones. Cut with floured 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Or have you been reluctant to try scones as well? 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small chunks 1.

Anyway, I dutifully hied myself over to the King Arthur Baker’s Store here in Norwich, VT, and picked up six scone mixes, pretty much at random. Combine the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, white sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg and salt in a bowl and mix well. The Muffin Method is used to mix most Standard muffin batters. Mix the dough together with your hands, being careful not to knead it or crush the blueberries, until it comes together.

Recently, I was looking through past BoB photos for a little project and happened upon photos of these muffins. For example: Do include captions for your images. When doubled in size, punch the dough down and roll it out onto a floured surface into a 15x9” rectangle. Brush the loaves or rolls with the egg wash. All measurements are in metric, includes recipes for dampers and pull-aparts.
